A Hope + A Future
“The space we learn in helps to shape the way that we learn. The new campus plans are designed around deepening the engagement and well-being of each student who comes to school with us.” - Jim Sovocool, Head of School
In 1991, Ken and Anita MacBain moved into a Philadelphia neighborhood struggling with poverty and crime in order to serve refugees who had escaped genocide in Cambodia. Over time, it became apparent that there was a need for a school, designed to meet the specific needs of the children of that community. In 2002, LOGAN Hope School opened its doors to 17 students.
Over twenty years later, our mission to foster hope and a future through Christian discipleship and transformative academics remains unchanged. The Hope + A Future Campaign will enable our teachers and staff to continue carrying out our mission effectively and will fully fund the execution of our strategic plan by:
- Supporting key growth initiatives in our academic programming for our teachers, students, and community
- Elevating our short- and long-term financial sustainability
- Funding a transformational campus expansion and renovation
